Standard Calfskin Drum Heads
We carry the highest grade standard calfskin heads in a wide range of sizes. Natural skin heads, traditional for rope tension field drums, will give you a wonderful full warm sound - they are also famously temperamental when exposed to high humidity.
We use the terminology "standard" to mean high grade calfskin heads produced domestically with a careful eye to consistency in thickness. Our batter calfskins are heavier in weight than our snare calfskins, with bass calfskins heavier than batter calfskins.
