These "basic" goatskin heads are of the best import quality. While not as consistent as the "standard" calfskins in thickness and color, these goatskins are appropriate for use by period reenactors, suitable when restoring vintage drums and drums that are collectible for display, and an economical alternative to the higher priced "standard" calfskins.

There are several options for ordering these goatskin heads. You can order the flat (untucked) skin, or the skin pretucked on a new flesh hoop, or you can choose to send us your existing flesh hoop to use for tucking the new head.
