Cooperman Concert Drumsticks

HICKORY DRUMSTICKS We turn our drumsticks here at our Vermont shop from the finest white hickory. Each stick is hand finished with a traditional line pattern, then pitch-matched and weight-matched into pairs.

PERSIMMON DRUMSTICKS The supply of persimmon lumber available at this time is all new growth material, which results in drumsticks that are unacceptably light in gram weight. We will offer persimmon wood drumsticks again when and if we find a suitable source of material.

ROSEWOOD DRUMSTICKS All woods of the "true rosewoods" genus Dalbergia, including the Honduran Rosewood that we used in making our rosewood drumsticks, are now banned for import in lumber form, and so we cannot offer these drumsticks at this time. We are working on a few substitute materials and will post here when we have an alternative. More details are at Exotic Hardwood Restrictions on Import/Export.
